Bangkok Cable Co., Ltd. was established in August 1964 as a wholly Thai-owned company to produce electric wires and cables with incentives and privileges granted by the Board of Investment (BOI). The Company has proudly become the leading manufacturer of electric wires and cables in Thailand.

Its first factory on a total area of 36 rais in Samut Prakan Province cemented the company's reputation for high-quality, dependable wire and cable products which later made expansion to the second factory on 215 rais of land in Banpho District, Chachoengsao Province.

Its great success over the past 50 years is the product of excellence in manufacturing electric wires and cables with state-of-the art technology, machinery and equipment at every stage of each operation. The Company aims to boost confidence among its customers and business partners, cater to customer needs in terms of product and service quality, and keep updating itself while presenting its potential for the ASEAN Economic Community. Today, the Company is ready to be engaged in pursuing the coming Thailand 4.0 economic model.

         Proud History
1964 : Company established in August, 1964 with registered capital of 4 million baht
1971 : Technical and academic collaboration with Tatsuta Electric Wire and Cable, Ltd. of Japan
1980 : Collaboration on telephone cable production with Hitachi Cable, Ltd. of Japan
1994 : Second factory opened at Banpho, Chachoengsao
  : Contirod machine installed to produce 8-mm copper rod with capacity of 100,000 tonns/year
2000 : TIS 17025 cables under fire conditions testing laboratory opened
2011 : Installed Extruder for production of High Voltage Cable of up 1,200
2013 : Production capacity of Power Cable expanded to 25,800 tonns/year
: Installed SZ Line Extruder for production of IEC/10 cable (production speed: 240 m/min.) and IEC 53 cable (production speed: 250 m/min.)
2014 : Commenced production of 132kV Underground Cable
: Marked BCC’s 50th Anniversary
